Starter Guide

For starters, aim to farm 20–40k gems, reach max level (200), and collect gold.

Starter units

Good basic starter units to build around early: Jester, Ranger, and Geode or Villager.

Jester (far left) is one of the strongest early picks — homing multi-target damage that clears early stories fast.

Building your core team

Focus on saving and spending wisely. Try to get strong core heroes like Matriarch, Puppet, Divine, and Emperor to carry your progression. If you don’t get them early, just keep farming and retrying. Once you have a solid team, upgrade and fuse them to push higher tiers. If you aren’t actively grinding, put your units in the AFK chamber's offline training instead of leaving them idle.

Daily routine

Always do your dailies: nightmare circus, dungeons, nightmare dungeons, and the daily quest.

The dungeons worth prioritizing are the gem dungeon and the mythic shards dungeon.

Story runs are organized by map and stage — each stage has its own first-time and repeat rewards.

Join every tournament as soon as it refreshes — participation alone gets you 500 gems and 2 mythic shards.

Key runes

Runes worth prioritizing early to help your progression: Angelic, Warp, Boom, Chrono, Vampiric, and Shadow. Warp in particular is worth getting if you want to clear story faster. Vampiric is specifically strong on Jester.

Moving into PvP

Once you have a solid team, move into PvP and farm trait stones for high-tier traits — Ultimate (0.1% drop rate) or Divine (0.5% drop rate) are the ones to chase.
